About BBS Database 4.0
BBS Database 4.0 was created to keep track of local BBS's in
the Salt Lake city area, I have as a hobby kept accurate local
BBS lists for several years, I always used a word processer
to do this, this was very time consuming and tedious I also
wanted a way to keep track of all my passwords on various BBS's
thats when I decided to create my own Database.
I decided that I wanted an easier way to keep track of all the
local BBS's.
====================================================================
BBS Database 4.0 can be used for local BBS lists or national BBS
lists or any BBS lists.
you can print your list out on your printer or you can save your
list to an ascii text file for distribution to BBS's or others
if you save the list out as an ascii text file to disk the name
of the list is BBSLIST.TXT and can be loaded into any text editor.
BBS Database 4.0 will not allow duplicate BBS names or Numbers
making it easier to keep track of BBS's.
To search for a BBS in your list simply type the first few letters
or numbers of the BBS and presto the database automatically
highlights the BBS that comes closest to the string of characters or
numbers you typed in.
this only works in the Search By BBS name mode.
you can sort bbs list by either BBS's name or number, you can print
or save your list sorted by Either BBS name or number also.
Use the up down arrows to scroll up and down through the entire
BBS list, Use the left and right arrows to scroll within the current
frame, use Page up Page down to scroll one page at a time up or
down.
Press the Insert key to add a BBS to your list.
Press the Delete Key to remove a BBS from your list.
Press enter on a highlighted BBS to change info about a BBS.
press Esc to go backwards on step at a time and to get back to
the main menu.
